Retreats are all about giving oneself a quiet space,
away from one's daily routine, reflecting on one's life and oneself.

Retreats

“A religious mind, a religious human being, one that doesn't belong to any religion, but a brain that is functioning with truth and therefore with great intelligence and compassion”.
- Jiddu Krishnamurti -

Giving oneself the space and time to be silent, to process, to recalibrate, and reset directions and for some to purely enter the dimension of spiritual connection within.

The retreats organised by Blue Lotus Academy has a unique flavour, depth and approach as each retreat is specifically curated based on a theme, intention and purpose in meeting each participant’s needs. Safe, contained and held in various locations, the retreats are the best spaces to work on areas in life and oneself that requires non-distracted attention and energy for change and awakenings.

Blue Lotus Academy retreats are guided and includes private alone time, meals, activities, silent meditations, journaling, discussions & contemplations and most importantly inner rest and mental clarity that’s crucial to process unresolved thoughts, life events, relationships and finding one’s inner compass and energy back.

The academy offers a variety of retreats such as private one to one retreat, small group retreats, advanced student retreats for students of the academy who have completed basic courses, silent retreats, corporate executive retreats, healing retreats, spiritual retreats, virtual home retreats, and special interest retreats.

The duration of the retreats varies from a 2 day weekend retreat to 12 days retreat depending on the programme. The locations are selected to suit the programmes.

1to1

One to One Private Retreat

Private one to one retreats are highly recommended for high performing individuals who have identified specific areas they like to work on and choose to have a personalised programme that delivers immediate clarity and results. This is perfect for those who are in need to re-evaluate everything within and re-invent themselves.

The one to one private retreats are intense, transformative and healing and offers participants options of selecting location and duration. All focus will be centred on you and your needs where you will work with the coach in finding yourself and your own inner alignment.

Upon completion of the retreat, you can choose to continue with follow up consultations and engagements to help you sustain your breakthroughs and continue the inner work from wherever you are at your own pace with supported materials.

Small-Group-Retreat_icn

Small Group Retreat

Small group retreats are usually a group comprising anywhere between 6 to 12 participants. Small group retreats are effective as each participant gets personal attention while benefiting from the group dynamics and support at the same time.

These retreats are ideal for individuals who need a balance of solitude and people engagement in small doses while engaging in the process of inner work. Ideal for couples, parent-child, friends, community or just anyone who wants to get acquainted and comfortable with doing inner work retreats.

Small group retreats offer transformation, self-discovery and spirituality in a way that you will learn about yourself through conscious awareness of others too.

corporate

student

Advanced Student Retreat

Advanced student retreats being the academy’s signature programme is designed for true seekers, learners and participants who have worked on themselves or completed various modules and short courses on inner work offered by the academy. The participants must have some understanding and inner stability to go deeper in exploring themselves in truthful and sincere reflections. The advance retreats will require pre-assessment and pre-work before attending.

This retreat will require a deep commitment and discipline not only to explore personal truth but also go beyond to be able to enter the conscious and unconscious grey shades of oneself. This retreat is an amazing space to work on more difficult aspects of inner work that one struggles with. This process will require a very open and surrendered mindset as it might challenge the idea of self and egos we have carried for a very long time.

Advance student retreats will be a good preparation for participants who intend to later do more silent retreats and spiritual retreats.

Spiritual-Retreat_icon

Spiritual Retreat

The Blue Lotus spiritual retreat is one that goes beyond healing, inner work, rejuvenation and transformation, its enters a dimension where there are no goals and objectives. It’s understanding every aspect of the human spirit itself and what it means to be truly spiritual without being confined to dogmatic belief systems and organised paths to truth and freedom.

This programme is about resting in a surrendered state, having trust and faith in oneself and the higher forces of nature. Exploring the intricacies of body, mind, brain, energy and spirit and becoming intimately grounded in just “being”. The retreat is designed to be in a non-doing state and just allowing your own inner intelligence, awareness and spirit to take precedence over thinking and directing a path.

This retreat is truly recommended for those seeking to understand what it means to be in freedom, truth, recognise one’s own sacredness and beauty without any reflection from the outer work. Being vulnerable to one’s pure intent and seated in the unknown just simply open to nature and higher consciousness.

This much needed retreat for this time is a calling for those who are ready for something more.

slient

Silent Retreat

Silent retreats are the most powerful transformative retreats. There is no better medicine and healing for the soul than silence. By removing all distractions and verbal communication, participants can reach a deep level of solitary contemplation and personal reflection. The ability to remain silent enables one to only hear themselves and understand the workings of one’s own mind, emotions, energy, addictions, personality and inner conscious and unconscious movements. When all external noises are removed, the only noise one encounters is the chatters of the mind.

The silent retreats offered by the academy has a strict protocol and process that requires participants to follow through. The set rules and regulations are designed to deliver results and hold through the process for a set time. This will include food discipline i.e type of food and fasting, sleep time and complete rest time. The silent retreats will be a complete dis-engagement with the outside world with no access to smartphones, laptops or any other technology devices, this will be very helpful in serving as a complete digital detox for the participants.

The silent retreats will be guided and supervised by the principal. The silent retreats are conducted in small group settings in serene locations that are close to nature.

The sessions here have been helpful, eye-opening and at times profound. The guided meditations have assisted in shedding some light to issues that needed attention, while the 1 on 1 sessions have opened up perspectives for exploration and inquiry. Yasotha’s style is calm, clear, compassionate and pointed, aimed at working for you. I find you have to be ready for responsibility as well, as the work demands your attention and energy, and openness to receive insights that allow you to find your presence or directions that you need.

I got to know Yasotha just browsing over my instagram page and the name Resting Hub ( before it was renamed Blue Lotus Academy ) then got me curious to find out about her services. Having known Yasotha for slightly more then a year now all I have to say is I am more grounded and there is someone I can talk to without worrying what if others know what’s happening in my space. I feel I am more balanced and able to be myself very quickly in the event I am off balance and she makes me always feel that I am stronger then my own belief in myself. I have been enjoying all my sessions with her as it allows me to know myself better and also looking forward to more retreats to dive in deep within myself with her guidance. I would strongly recommend Yasotha to anyone who needs a friend or struggling with stress /anxiety and depression, Yasotha is the best person I have known so far Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

One of the best things that happened to us is Yasotha. Every session only brought us closer to connections, love and peace. Most realistic therapist and her works speaks louder. Every session is very organic and intense too. Her works are unquestionable for dedication and commitment she puts in. Energy never lies. She was the bridge holding both of us when we were falling apart. We couldn't explain how beautifully everything turned up at the end. We are blessed to meet her. She always says "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear" indeed true. Truest human during therapy or off therapy, she will hold you together.

The question of how to exist as an individual within the social requirements of coexisting has always been a pressing thought. The lows of life and the thought of loosing my self was core stirring and scary. Fortunately,I was directed towards Yasotha Krishna who eventually gave me back to me! And was a true saviour of the internal self. We are so focused of the external body, almost willing to pay thousand for gym training and so forth yet neglect the work that needs to be done internally with absolute diligence. It is easy to label it as depression, anxiety , mental break down, unlucky or burn out if no effort is put into changing it. Meditation, awareness and internal work is a lifestyle on its own for those who make thriving their mantra. Through her structured programme and interactive sessions it has given me so much insight and silence where I have found a fraction of my self and am still happy to say that I look forward to do more work to dig in deep. The sessions are tailored based on each and every individual's vocabulary of existence. The core is stagnant. How deep we dig in to find ourselves and how big we grow exponentially is in our hands. Its constant work in progress. I thank the Universe for sending the guide in the form of Yasotha.

I have been seeing Yasotha for more than 6 months consistently and I myself was truly amazed with the results under her guidance. When I first met her I was in heartbroken and helpless mode, but her patience guidance has made my journey became clearer and peaceful. I am so blessed to have her in my self recovering journey. It was never easy at the beginning because I was lost but after 6 months down the road, I felt more confident and peaceful. Thanks to Yasotha for being so patient and kind. Yasotha’s meditation techniques are unlike any other I've experienced. Under her guidance, the inner work she's coaching me on has created a greater sense of self-awareness and mindfulness in me. She's uncovered parts of me that I didn't realize were driving my actions, and through her teachings, I have a renewed sense of clarity and focus in my life. In this process of self-exploration I'm learning how to distinguish the conscious from the unconscious, the internal from the external, and I'm becoming more and more authentically me. At the my lowest point in my life she was there to pick me up and help me piece my life back together, she never gave up on me even when I did myself. Yasotha’s greatest contribution is herself as a human - her grace, care and kindness is one of a kind, and I'm blessed to call her a mentor and friend.

I started working with Yasotha since November last year after hearing about her through my mother. I currently live in Ontario, Canada where I am starting over my life and career after the pandemic. Not knowing what to expect, I hopped on a zoom call with her and was immediately drawn to her energy. Speaking to Yasotha made me feel like I was talking to my very own best friend. We spent the next couple of weeks getting to know each other and we had some pretty in depth conversations to help us both get to a point where she could gauge what would be the most helpful path to take to help me succeed in my goals going forward, ie, career, life in general and personal development. Yasotha is particularly skilled at asking insightful and thoughtful questions that get you to do a deep dive into your own mind and thought process – which for me has been an experience unlike no other. I don’t particularly meditate in the traditional sense but sessions with her make me feel extremely grounded and mindful of the life I am leading and the choices I am making on a daily basis. When we have our sessions there is no resistance and she has certainly been successful in creating a non-judgmental, safe and a very peaceful environment for me to be able to share my honest, innermost and deepest thoughts with her. She makes me feel seen and I have certainly felt a boost in my confidence recently, especially in the way I envision my goals and conduct myself in my life. I feel like I have also been equipped with the tools to be able to reflect on my life and innermost thoughts daily. The beautiful thing about it is – Yas doesn’t work with a template. She carefully examines her clients and tailors’ specific solutions to their circumstances. She is also wonderful with check ins on a regular basis so I rarely feel like I am alone in this journey. I cannot wait to see more of the progress I am going to make in the future working with Yas. Sessions with her are definitely something I look forward to on a weekly basis.
