Workshops

Inner Stability
Part 1 & Part 2

A preparatory into inner work, this workshop walks you through questions on inner stability and it is divided into 2 parts. A self enquiry on understanding the stability of the brain, mind, energy, body, emotions, personality and all other elements that makes up the identity of the self, the “I”.

The subject matters explored in the workshop will be centred around your connectedness with actual reality vs mind reality vs the reality you seek to experience, understanding the traps of delusion and imaginations, how to identify your stability and instabilities, as well as bring awareness to be grounded in your relationship with yourself and your world. Establishing a synthesis between your inner struggles and outward struggles, and finding a growth point and core stability point within.

Each part is a one day workshop with total hours of 6 hours.

Will and Intention
Part 1 & Part 2

The evolution of man is the evolution of his consciousness, and ‘consciousness’ cannot evolve unconsciously. The evolution of man is the evolution of his will, and ‘will’ cannot evolve involuntarily. – GI Gurdjieff

This workshop is essential in understanding the inner inertia within oneself. Participants will explore their own motive for change and evolution and how much they are willing to do, how much is within their doing, the difference between will and intention in oneself.

This workshop requires understanding one’s own complexities and subtle wants and desires, self-observation and awareness of one’s conscious and unconscious movements in life.

Each part is a one day workshop with total hours of 6 hours.

Comfort and Discomfort
Part 1 & Part 2

This essential workshop is highly recommended as a “must do”.

Every growth within and without is determined by the intensity of comfort you are seeking to maintain and the discomfort you are willing to breakthrough mentally, emotionally, physically, energetically and spiritually without falling apart or giving up.

As simple as this sounds, the subject of comfort and discomfort entails every aspect of our lives and ourselves. The goals we set, our aspirations, the relationships we want to maintain and uphold, our possibilities, and the journey from where we are and where we want to be is determined by our understanding of the comfort and discomfort experienced.

The most dangerous default in human beings is the default of comfort but nevertheless the process also requires understanding the fragility and expansion of energy capacity and the creation of the person who is capable of generating. Thus, this workshop is an important programme that will provide an understanding of oneself in overall health, wellbeing , growth and success in every dimension of inner work.

Each part is a one day workshop with total hours of 6 hours.

The sessions here have been helpful, eye-opening and at times profound. The guided meditations have assisted in shedding some light to issues that needed attention, while the 1 on 1 sessions have opened up perspectives for exploration and inquiry. Yasotha’s style is calm, clear, compassionate and pointed, aimed at working for you. I find you have to be ready for responsibility as well, as the work demands your attention and energy, and openness to receive insights that allow you to find your presence or directions that you need.

I got to know Yasotha just browsing over my instagram page and the name Resting Hub ( before it was renamed Blue Lotus Academy ) then got me curious to find out about her services. Having known Yasotha for slightly more then a year now all I have to say is I am more grounded and there is someone I can talk to without worrying what if others know what’s happening in my space. I feel I am more balanced and able to be myself very quickly in the event I am off balance and she makes me always feel that I am stronger then my own belief in myself. I have been enjoying all my sessions with her as it allows me to know myself better and also looking forward to more retreats to dive in deep within myself with her guidance. I would strongly recommend Yasotha to anyone who needs a friend or struggling with stress /anxiety and depression, Yasotha is the best person I have known so far Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

One of the best things that happened to us is Yasotha. Every session only brought us closer to connections, love and peace. Most realistic therapist and her works speaks louder. Every session is very organic and intense too. Her works are unquestionable for dedication and commitment she puts in. Energy never lies. She was the bridge holding both of us when we were falling apart. We couldn't explain how beautifully everything turned up at the end. We are blessed to meet her. She always says "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear" indeed true. Truest human during therapy or off therapy, she will hold you together.

The question of how to exist as an individual within the social requirements of coexisting has always been a pressing thought. The lows of life and the thought of loosing my self was core stirring and scary. Fortunately,I was directed towards Yasotha Krishna who eventually gave me back to me! And was a true saviour of the internal self. We are so focused of the external body, almost willing to pay thousand for gym training and so forth yet neglect the work that needs to be done internally with absolute diligence. It is easy to label it as depression, anxiety , mental break down, unlucky or burn out if no effort is put into changing it. Meditation, awareness and internal work is a lifestyle on its own for those who make thriving their mantra. Through her structured programme and interactive sessions it has given me so much insight and silence where I have found a fraction of my self and am still happy to say that I look forward to do more work to dig in deep. The sessions are tailored based on each and every individual's vocabulary of existence. The core is stagnant. How deep we dig in to find ourselves and how big we grow exponentially is in our hands. Its constant work in progress. I thank the Universe for sending the guide in the form of Yasotha.

Her techniques are based on self-discovery and acceptance, which has created a very wholesome experience for me. Yasotha’s refreshing yet timeless take on life is especially relevant in the current times we live in, where the focus is on ridding the being off any survival energy and operating in abundance. Her leadership and guidance during these retreats has been invaluable, and I have learned so much from her and the other participants. Throughout my journey with Yasotha, I have found her to be incredibly caring and supportive. I have been seeing Yasotha for more than 6 months consistently and I myself was truly amazed with the results under her guidance. When I first met her I was in heartbroken and helpless mode, but her patience guidance has made my journey became clearer and peaceful. I am so blessed to have her in my self recovering journey. It was never easy at the beginning because I was lost but after 6 months down the road, I felt more confident and peaceful. Thanks to Yasotha for being so patient and kind. Yasotha’s meditation techniques are unlike any other I've experienced. Under her guidance, the inner work she's coaching me on has created a greater sense of self-awareness and mindfulness in me. She's uncovered parts of me that I didn't realize were driving my actions, and through her teachings, I have a renewed sense of clarity and focus in my life. In this process of self-exploration I'm learning how to distinguish the conscious from the unconscious, the internal from the external, and I'm becoming more and more authentically me. At the my lowest point in my life she was there to pick me up and help me piece my life back together, she never gave up on me even when I did myself. Yasotha’s greatest contribution is herself as a human - her grace, care and kindness is one of a kind, and I'm blessed to call her a mentor and friend.

I started working with Yasotha since November last year after hearing about her through my mother. I currently live in Ontario, Canada where I am starting over my life and career after the pandemic. Not knowing what to expect, I hopped on a zoom call with her and was immediately drawn to her energy. Speaking to Yasotha made me feel like I was talking to my very own best friend. We spent the next couple of weeks getting to know each other and we had some pretty in depth conversations to help us both get to a point where she could gauge what would be the most helpful path to take to help me succeed in my goals going forward, ie, career, life in general and personal development. Yasotha is particularly skilled at asking insightful and thoughtful questions that get you to do a deep dive into your own mind and thought process – which for me has been an experience unlike no other. I don’t particularly meditate in the traditional sense but sessions with her make me feel extremely grounded and mindful of the life I am leading and the choices I am making on a daily basis. When we have our sessions there is no resistance and she has certainly been successful in creating a non-judgmental, safe and a very peaceful environment for me to be able to share my honest, innermost and deepest thoughts with her. She makes me feel seen and I have certainly felt a boost in my confidence recently, especially in the way I envision my goals and conduct myself in my life. I feel like I have also been equipped with the tools to be able to reflect on my life and innermost thoughts daily. The beautiful thing about it is – Yas doesn’t work with a template. She carefully examines her clients and tailors’ specific solutions to their circumstances. She is also wonderful with check ins on a regular basis so I rarely feel like I am alone in this journey. I cannot wait to see more of the progress I am going to make in the future working with Yas. Sessions with her are definitely something I look forward to on a weekly basis.
